Claesson Koivisto Rune Designs the Clip Chair Collection for Studio TK

At this year’s NeoCon, Studio TK launched a task chair collection featuring a clip that cinches the fabric closer to the chair’s shell. Claesson Koivisto Rune designed the Clip chair with a calyx-shaped lower shell that hugs the body while curving out towards the top of the armrests and backrests for added comfort. Shaped like a headband or a cyclist’s pant clip, the signature detail clips on to keep the fabric attached to the seat shell without the need for glue, avoiding any puckering.

The custom designed clip snaps onto the shell’s exterior to keep the fabric close to the upholstered shell creating a convex interior and a concave exterior for both comfort and aesthetics. The clip can either match the fabric for a minimalist look or contrast for a bolder statement.

In addition to all of the color choices, Clip is available with base options that include: five-star caster, four-leg in metal, four-leg in wood, and pedestal cross-base. The bases come in polished and painted aluminum, along with five colors of wood finishes.
