Andrea Joyce Heimer paints “the dark/weird/hidden sides of the suburban landscape.” She’s shown in cities across the country, including Seattle, Austin, San Francisco, Cincinnati, Nashville, and Asbury Park, New Jersey. The images have a folk art feel, but are very much rooted in modern life as subject matter goes. For this week’s CMYLK column, we created Colourlovers palettes for three of her storied themes.
