The Colorful Beads of Brokenfab Jewelry

Today we tried something different for our CMYLK column: we used Colourlovers to create palettes for jewelry. These festive, handmade glass bead pieces are designed by Fabienne Morel under the label Brokenfab. She’s a Swiss textile designer influenced by the colors and patterns of Frank Stella and Ettore Sottsass, and African tribal design. The current collection, Disco and Boogie Beading, incorporates the musical influences of disco, boogie, and electro. It’s a celebration of abstract art, dancing and 1980s fashion. Pastel shades, geometric patterns and asymmetrical shapes define the high-energy designs. Perfect for our palette purposes, right?
