Through furniture, an imaginary mirror, and self reflection, the story about Greek god Narcissus is told. In this collection, KIMXGENSAPA design studio looks at the positive side of Narcissism, where appreciating and developing oneself brings out sides that were never visible. (Does that make taking selfies ‘ok’?)
With the Narcissus chair, an imaginary mirror is placed on the seat, creating a tilted ‘persiana window’ structure that has many more hidden functions.
The Narcissus library is based on the idea of having a big wall mirror that reflects a certain part of the room, and containing a hidden unit as an element of surprise.
The Narcissus light has two LED light bars stacked on top of each other. Along with the 5 other wooden pieces attached, different light effects are shown, as if the wooden bar was captured by light.
From the designer:
Appreciate the ordinary look. Look closer to make it extraordinary.
