Contemporary Dining Chair Made From Renewable Materials

ByALEX set out to create a contemporary dining chair that was made from renewable materials. The result is the Neighbourhood Chair which is made from bamboo, a material that only takes six years to grow before it can be harvested for furniture. Regular wood takes much longer and with bamboo being just as strong, it’s a no-brainer.

The seat and backrest are made from molded plywood to make the chair more comfortable. Those are then covered in linoleum, which is made from 93% natural materials.
