Crane and Loom by Benjamin Hubert

Benjamin Hubert has launched two new lighting collections, Crane and Loom.

Crane
An architectural adjustable task lamp with a new typology for Swedish lighting manufacturer Ă–rsjö. Inspired by industrial engineered metal structures and equipment, this lamp encloses high-powered LEDs inside a perforated aluminum tube. It sits on a simple metal base. The horizontal arm can be adjusted and rotated for different tasks. The material selection and details reference Ă–rsjö’s history of metal work and production.

Loom
Loom is a collection of pendant lamps for Swedish manufacturer Zero that nod to Chinese lanterns. They’ve been constructed with a 3D woven polyester material that has been used in the bedding industry. This textile can be manipulated in many ways, stretched around complex forms. Its dense network of polyester fibers diffuses light and gives the light a nice texture.
