Creative Leah Bradley Debuts a Limited Edition Chandelier With Cerno

For California-based creative Leah Bradley, outdoor living is more than a weekend activity – it’s a way of life for her family of five, including husband Jake and their three children. When the family isn’t enjoying Southern California’s sun, surf, and sand, the family restores through their memory preservation project, We Are Dirt. Similarly and close by, modern lighting design studio Cerno embraces the California lifestyle, partaking in mid-afternoon surf sessions when time allows. United by these shared passions, Bradley and Cerno collaborated on the limited edition Linea Selva chandelier, a lighting fixture that embodies the idyllic California Modern lifestyle that both parties share and appreciate. “We all like to make things and collaborate. We are makers,” reflects Bret Englander, Director of Sales & Marketing and Co-Founder at Cerno. “With Leah’s hands-on approach to design and shared influences, the collaboration felt so natural to us. We are just two like-minded people coming together to create something beautiful.”

The Lines Selva chandelier features ethically-sourced, handcrafted wood paired with smoky topaz Wabi short glass, produced into Cerno’s recently acquired, Italian-inspired glass blowing studio, Siemon & Salazar. The organic indents on the glass shades almost appear to be in motion, like moving waters along the beach. In actuality, sea glass is what inspired the design for Bradley, who shares, “I wanted to create something special with Cerno – a hand-blown glass pendant that reminds me of sea glass we’ve found along the beach, paired with a warm oak wood that makes our kitchen feel so complete.” The design’s natural oiled white oak bar connects the two glass shades, creating space between them, while brushed brass accents add a touch of luxury.

The Linea Selva chandelier beautifully symbolizes the shared vision and appreciation between Bradley and Cerno, celebrating an aesthetic that is both grounded in sensibility and enriched by their deep connection to the California lifestyle.
