This month’s Designer Desktop features Portland-based artist, Jessica Poundstone, whose work we love and is largely informed by color and minimalism. Her design for this month’s downloadable desktop is based off her artwork “Color Cloud 13: It’s Right There For You.” She shares, “I’m always pursuing that feeling of being submerged and surrounded by the lush, comforting, energizing vibe color can create. Color Cloud 13 is a meditation on the fact that we usually have more resources at our disposal than we think. Whatever it is we need more of – love, inspiration, joy, peace – is already right there for us. We just need to take the time to recognize it and claim it for ourselves. I hope this helps remind us of that.” We think it’s a vibrant and beautiful work that needs to live on your tech devices this month and beyond.
