DraftKings Moves into New Boston Headquarters by IA Interior Architects

Fantasy sports betting company DraftKings recently moved into their new headquarters in Boston designed by IA Interior Architects. With over 650 on staff at this location, the company now occupies a single floor spanning over 100,000 square feet, welcoming employees, guests, and recruits into their energetic and inclusive space.

The company immerses visitors into a world sports while still keeping a modern feel throughout. Each sport within DraftKings’ platform – basketball, hockey, golf, soccer, NASCAR, etc. – has its own “neighborhood” featuring a variety of conference rooms (all named for athletes or tech innovators), telephone rooms, and open huddle spaces that bring that particular sport to life. Bold colors, dramatic angles, and graphics define the huddle rooms, which are topped off with writeable walls and vibrant places to work.

Sports tickers run above the tech bar and reception desk to add to the gaming aesthetic. At the tech bar, visitors can use iPads to explore the company’s platform, or to see about players and scores.

The cafe features football field markings on the floor and neon lighting on the ceiling that can be matched to over 400 different teams.

There’s a training room at one end of the cafe with retractable screens that display a Boston cityscape graphic when closed. The partitions can be opened to increase the space for larger meetings.
