A Candleholder Inspired by Ice in the Arctic Sea

With its simple, low profile, you can see that Drift gets its name from the very thing that inspired it – frozen ice floating in the Arctic Sea. The modular set of four candleholders, designed by Nestor Campos for Northern Lighting, can be configured in a variety of ways or used individually.

Its weightless appearance comes from the holder’s base being hidden from view, as it was designed to accommodate a variety of different candles sizes. Instead of the candle fitting into the cup-like base, Drift’s sleek steel and powder-coated matte grey finish base contains a single pin that holds the candle in place. One corner of each holder is bent slightly up making it easier to grab and move as needed.
