Dwell on Design 2016 is This Weekend!

Dwell on Design is in its 11th year, taking place again at the LA Convention Center this weekend – June 24-26th. We’re honored to again be a media partner and be in attendance to check out what’s exciting and new. They’re back with Dwell Outdoor, great talks from big names, and their popular Home Tours.

First, we are so excited that renowned architect Sou Fujimoto will be the Keynote speaker this year. Other talks and panels will include actor Gary Sinise, architect Matthew Hufft, co-creator of Morpholio Toru Hasegawa, and LA Times architecture critic Christopher Hawthorne. From healthy architecture and the business of design to technology and the future of work, the great programming will span two stages all three days.

One of the newest features is the Designers & Books Fair, featuring top architecture and design books, designed to support and promote the importance of books in the design world.

Another exciting new development is that imm cologne will have a featured space in the International Design Materials Pavilion, previewing 11 international brands and designers, along with complementary educational and entertaining programs.

Dwell-Outdoor

In addition, Dwell Outdoor is back, curated by designer Jamie Durie, and the space will include Dwell on Design’s first-ever two-story prefab home, from LivingHomes. The beer garden and the Modern Family Pavilion, and one-on-one designer/architect consultations will return, as well.
