An Eclectic Dublin Office Space with Plenty of Verve

After two and a half years searching for the ideal office space, VERVE, Ireland’s leading live communication agency, found the perfect spot on Erne Street in Dublin. Working with brands like Google, Coca-Cola, and Diageo, VERVE knew they needed some inspirational digs that would encourage employee collaboration and creativity. The 20th century building was once a candle factory that was turned into a contemporary art gallery in the 1990s by architect Gerry Cahill. Luckily, when the VERVE team came in, the building didn’t need any major structural work so it was a blank canvas for Creative Director John O’Shaughnessy to create magic.

The company’s motto, “WE ARE LIVE”, is proudly displayed in huge marquee letters on the curved stairwell wall. Visitors can take a seat on the Noguchi inspired, sky blue sofa and ottoman by CA Design, which sits underneath a stencil cut tree.

As if the space wasn’t dazzling enough, they brought in a vintage 1973 Citroen DS that was remodeled as a meeting space for four people. The car was originally purchased by VERVE’s MD Ronan Traynor as a 30th birthday present, but after three children, the car wasn’t practical.

Even though the massive space is mostly painted white, they’ve brought in fun bits of color, like greens, purples, reds, and yellows.
