Ego: A Chair with Asymmetrical Geometry

Studying technology and how we use it, Alegre Design developed the Ego chair that allows the user to change positions based on what they’re doing. Manufactured by B&V, it allows you to sit comfortably while using a tablet, shifting to rest your arm on the raised side of the chair, or you can relax and lay back.

The chair’s asymmetrical geometry is quite fetching to look at it’s pretty smart for those of us that like to lean to one side when we’re focused on our smartphones and tablets.

The chair’s seat is made using injected foam polyurethane and once it’s upholstered, it’s attached to its wooden base. There’s a range of fabric and leather options that can be used and mixed up depending on the user’s preferences.
