Embrace 2 Collection by Maksim Shniak and HOBBYWOOD

Maksim Shniak, a Belarus-based designer, continues his collection of pendant lighting called Embrace 2, for HOBBYWOOD. The updated collection maintains the idea of a simple, flat-packed lamp made from plywood parts, but with new shapes and finishes, like in black and white.

The thin, component pieces are also a new shape and they fit into the circular top and bottom plates to form the shape of each light. The open spaces let light through which casts really cool shadows in the room they’re hung in.
