Envisions: Everything But The End

In an effort to explore the creative process and disrupt the status quo, Envisions is a Dutch collective that shows everything… Except the end result. Rather than focusing on the finished product, these designers/makers/exhibitors are exploring the process of creation and all the paths that lead to the finished piece.

Envisions-Group

Together, the exhibitors each shed light on the multiple phases of creating that are typically not shown to the public eye. By sharing all the details and process, the end product has more life, and a more developed story to be consumed. At the same time, it opens the exhibitor itself to the public, creating a vulnerable and open interaction between creator and the public. Rather than it being one way, this is meant to create an open dialogue between the maker and clients — so they can become collaborators and result in new joint ventures.
