I can’t stop staring at this staircase. It’s just amazing. The whole house is amazing, but I’m particularly in love with these. See more at Trendir.

GORGEOUS! I love the nautilus effect in the second photo! It’s modern and organic, or something like that!

I do not have the room for these but they are fantastic! They do have a little The Jetsons look, but the wood warms it up quite a bit.

Some designs like this one looks pretty nice and fresh. This wood staircase is absolutely great. Looks like dinosaur backbone. But hold me tightly when I will use this staircase after couple of beers :)

No words to describe awe

Only problem is how shallow the steps are, it would take forever to get up and down.

I wouldn’t recommend comsuming large amounts of alcohol before using these stairs… especially for ladies in high heels. But if you insist then try wearing a sumo suit and a motorcycle helmet. (Though if your friends caught you decked out like that they might have an intervention in the works for you).

I need this staircase in my life!
Who made it, where are they, and can i be their disciple?
Skylar on 10.12.2009 at 20:49 PM
They are very visually appealing and even fun the first few dozen times but then they become annoying and not at all practical.
How do you get furniture or big loads of laundry up? How do you easily carry things up?
Not practical sadly.

this is bloody silly. This is like fashion (only for looking) but would be silly to have something like this in a house. How can you carry a baby up and down the stairs? Only one word to describe this thing…. stupid design!

Those are beutifull. I always wanted to build a spiral staircase. Is that Walnut or if not do you know what kind of wood it is?

If I could name it, I would name it the vertebrae stairs. It just looks like a vertebrae. Doesn’t it! Very cool…
