Floyd’s Much-Anticipated Modular Shelving Makes Its Arrival

It’s taken American furniture label Floyd over two years and more than 40 iterations, but their highly anticipated shelving system – The Shelves – has finally arrived. The system of endlessly modular components feature birch plywood supports and powder-coated American steel shelves in three heights and three colorways, with specially made hardware and an easy to assemble velcro wall anchor system.

The Tall, Short, and Wardrobe height shelves allow for an infinite number of units to be stacked side-by-side by a single vertical, avoiding misalignment. A single Tall shelf can be assembled in as little as 20 minutes, 10 minutes for a single Short shelf. The only tool you need is provided.

Made with powder-coated U.S. steel, The Shelves are guaranteed to hold a maximum of 65 lbs each, and the velcro wall anchor system is compliant with standard performance specifications for tip-over restraints. Every element has been designed to be flush, while the hardware was designed to ensure that all screws are the exact same length and the one bolt is square so you only have to tighten it on one side. It really is the little things that make the biggest difference!
