førs studio Brings Joy To the Everyday With Their Homewares Line

førs studio is a new female founded product design company creating poetic objects for essential living. Just by browsing through their 51-piece ceramic collection we can see how these objects – meant for use in the kitchen and beyond – can fill a home with joy and soulfulness.

Founded by friends Vanessa Eckstein and Muriel Solomon, førs is grounded in the belief that objects have their own inner force, a physical energy and sense of purpose all their own. Eckstein and Solomon combined their passion and expertise in design, hospitality, culture and travel to celebrate the philosophy that enough is plenty. The pieces they’ve created connect us to the rituals and moments that matter.

Designed in Canada, with a commitment to people and sustainable practices, førs studio believes in quality, craftsmanship and humanity. They work with family businesses who share these beliefs to create a product that’s as practical for breakfast on a Tuesday as it is elegant for Saturday night’s dinner party. Made from bone china, førs’ tableware is dishwasher, microwave, oven and freezer safe, and it’s also chip resistant. The hand-glazing each piece receives gives a soft, unique finish with a comfortable hold.

The 51-piece collection includes plates, bowls, cups, teapots and carafes, and is available in four colors: white, grey, mauve and coral. There’s also a set of three wooden nesting trays that are handcrafted from bullet wood that’s been sourced from self-sustaining forests.
