1. Architecture
There are few things in life that gives me goose bumps on a daily basis. But there is always something to experience with architecture; the purpose, the sequence, the light, even the smell and touch. I love watching people experiencing architecture, especially when they themselves are not focusing at all on it. They are just going about their day, being in and around architecture. It effects them, affects them sometimes, calms them, guides them, protects them.

2. Cities
The DNA of every city is something unique and I never get tired of experiencing this and letting myself be inspired by this. The energy of NYC, the shapes of Barcelona, the ease of Stockholm. Observing the architecture, people and street life of cities is just an endless pool of visual inspiration that would be hard to live without.

3. Fika
Fika – the social ritual of having your coffee and and something sweet. This is of course to nurture my sweet tooth on a daily basis, but more importantly this is about the ritual of hitting the pause button for a while, indulging yourself, meeting and talking.

4. Details
It’s true, it’s all in the details! This is what gives products, architecture, art, fashion its nerve and personality. So, don’t underestimate the power of the smaller brush strokes in your pads.

5. Heading out
The calm of casting off and heading out into the big blue on our old mahogany dame…
