A Furniture Collection Inspired by Ancient Egyptian Pyramids

Inspired by the ancient mysteries of the Egyptian desert, Sand Family is a new collection of furniture designed by Robert Giacomucci for EMPORIUM. Using a light teak wooden finish, the furniture mimics ancient pyramids of Giza, even down to their alabaster finish that was said to reflect sunlight during the darkest nights. By using satin methacrylate to recreate the translucent effect of alabaster, each piece ends up having a rather elegant effect.
