Geode Generative Jigsaw Puzzles by Nervous System

We’ve long been fans of Nervous System and they’re back with a new series of generative jigsaw puzzles that are inspired by geology. Geode, and their larger sibling Orbicular, look as if they’re sliced sections of colorful banded agate stones instead of puzzles made of a birch plywood.

This new wave of puzzles were created using a new generative system called Maze for making the puzzle cuts in these distorted shapes.

Each puzzle features a computer generated image of an algorithmic geode that’s then cut into a maze-like pattern for you to solve. The pieces feature intertwining arms that make the puzzles more fun and more of a challenge to put together. Geode puzzles include about 180 pieces with four crystal-themed additions, while Orbicular puzzles contain approximately 360 pieces with five crystal-themed ones.
