Material Lust. What can I say? We’ve long admired their bold Geometry is God collection and by that I mean, desperately want to acquire each and every piece. The New York City-based duo, Lauren Larson and Christian Lopez Swafford, continue to throw down with an extension of their edgy collection which now includes lighting. The design pair continues to perfect their aesthetic of high design with bold lines, rich materials, and heavy symbolism, which they manage to merge together into thought-provoking, eye-catching, and touch-worthy, functional sculptures.
They also just recently released the Vanishing Twin Chair, which sees a rebirth of the Pagan Chair they launched in 2014.
From Larson:
The concept behind the Vanishing Twin has to do with the fact that there were always two twins, two Pagan Chairs, but one was born. In the beginning we had intended to do one subconsciously knowing there were always two. This being almost a rebirth in a more soft extrusion of the original metal.
