Grovemade Debuts Wood and Leather Watch Collection

Grovemade has long been known for their wooden tech accessories but over the years the brand has far surpassed that category to include all kinds of handcrafted goods and accessories. Now, the Portland, Oregon based company has just unveiled a followup to their inaugural round of watches. Watch 02, designed with former Nike watch designer Stefan Andrén, highlights the wood with its three-dimensional concave face that’s paired with a vegetable-tanned leather strap (made by Grovemade).

The watches’ wooden dials are CNC-milled and set within a stainless steel or 22 karat gold-plated stainless steel case and feature Japan-made Miyota 5Y26 quartz movements. Along with some parts sourced from China, the watches are then assembled in their Portland workshop.

Watch 02 comes in Eastern Hardrock Maple or Oregon Claro Walnut with a black or silver stainless steel base. It’s also available in Oregon Claro Walnut with a 22 karat gold plated stainless steel case.
