Guille Cameron Mac Lean’s conceptual Liston furniture system adapts to just about any space and need you can think of. Using two lengths of structural wooden slats, it can grow in every direction. We love seeing this approach to design that addresses how we produce and consume materials. Each cube measures 40 x 40 x 40 cm and are connected to one another through the use of reusable seals (also known as RTA or zip ties) that can be found in your local hardware store. Liston uses no glue and the adjustable reusable seals give the user the ability to reconfigure as often as needed. All of the furniture’s parts are repairable or replaceable, so there’s no need to discard any element if damaged. The building process also allows for easy separation by material for recycling later on.
