H2O Bilbao: A Water Pitcher Designed for Charity

Bosa partnered with designer Patricia Urquiola to design a water pitcher for a charity project. H2O Bilbao is a reinterpreted ceramic Kaiku, a traditional, iconic container from the Basque culture made of wood that was used for milk and to warm up liquids.

The slanted pitcher is used in Bilbao restaurants to serve tap water from the local aqueduct, which is said to hold the best water in Spain, for 1€. They’re also sold in the Basque restaurants and Bosa stores with proceeds going to Oxfam Intermon to help construct wells in Ethiopia.
