Handmade Wooden Furniture by Collaptes

Mexico City-based Cyntia Briano Alamillo, of Collaptes, handcrafts wooden furniture, mostly doing away with the need of screws and any chemical solvents, and instead focusing on the raw material. Many of their pieces are made up of wooden components that make up each piece fit together like a puzzle therefore requiring no fasteners.

Wanting to focus on producing environmentally friendly furniture, Alamillo works at reducing waste and cuts as many parts as possible out of each wood board.
