Headspace’s State-of-the-Art Meditation Pods

Meditation is known to be life-changing and Headspace, a project that’s looking to improve the health and happiness of everyone, has launched their latest endeavor – Meditation Pods. Designed by architecture firm Oyler Wu, the pods offer a carved out spot for people to practice meditation.

The pods are an innovative approach that aims to make meditation feel more tangible, as the practice itself is an intangible exercise. With its minimalist exterior juxtaposed with an organically layered interior, the pod becomes a tranquil spot inspired by natural geological formations.

The layers are made of machine cut wood featuring a curved seat for comfort. Inside, there’s a screen giving users various content, like the Headspace library of guided meditations. The pods encourage you to sit back, slip on the headphones, and watch the screen as it guides you through a meditation.
