HEAVY (As In Awesome) Exhibition at Art Genève

HEAVY is the newest exhibition at Art Genève in Switzerland that was curated by James gallery. Why the name HEAVY? Well, it features not overweight, but awesomely massive, solid pieces of art by various artists.

Each piece utilizes common, primary materials that are then elevated by complex finishes. Blurring the boundaries between art and design, many of these pieces are making their debut. Whether it’s pigmented concrete by Magnus Pettersen or textured recycled cardboard by Domingos Tótora, all of the objects are made from one chosen material only.
