Hop Onboard The Flying Dishman

A circular outdoor daybed with 360-degree views sounds just about perfect, doesn’t it? Meet The Flying Dishman, a collaboration between Weltevree and Dutch artist Joep van Lieshout with a name that gives a nod to the myth of The Flying Dutchman. While the The Flying Dutchman is a ghost ship forced to forever sail the seven seas, The Flying Dishman underlines the continuous circle of recycling as well as our constantly moving lives. Here’s a spot to stop, lay down, and relax – even if just for a moment.

The outdoor daybed is partially made from recycled waste containers, giving its circular design even more meaning in terms of the economy and environment. The resulting material withstands daily weather and requires virtually zero maintenance.
