House in Spain by MAS Arquitectura

This house in La Coruña, Spain by MAS Arquitectura features a bright interior created by lots of natural light. The great amount of natural light from the house’s large windows and skylight send light throughout the entire 3-story home. The skylight, which crosses the house perpendicularly, creates a light effect with fun shadow play.

The airy interior design stays away from corridors and closed-in spaces instead opening the entire space up to embrace the lightness and promote good flow between rooms. The “chiaroscuro,” designed by architect Marcos Samaniego from MAS, is reflected in the stark contrast between the pure white walls and the black color on the floor, curtains and carpentry.
