Hula Bone China Jewelry Debut Collection by Reiko Kaneko

One of our favorite tabletop and accessories designers, Reiko Kaneko, is launching a brand new jewelry line called Hula, that’s been a year in the making. Made from high-end materials known for their quality such as fine bone china, gold and platinum, the Hula collection emphasizes material beauty and luxury.

The range consists of pendant necklaces made from bone china and accented with gold or platinum, and strung on a gold or silver chain. The ring pendants are available as a single or a double pendant. The two rings of the double pendant produce a soft clinking sound as they touch, adding an extra sensory aspect to the design and making it all the more pleasing to wear.

The circle holds a certain intrigue for many and Reiko is especially interested in the calligraphic representation of a circle called ensĹŤ. Characterized by minimalism but also wabi-sabi, Hula finds its beauty in irregularity and its body without pretense.
