inDITO Oversized Thimble by Vito Nesta

Italian designer Vito Nesta was inspired by a sewing thimble when he created his latest product entitled inDITO. The now oversized object becomes a vase or planter to house your greenery indoors.

He found the original thimble that sparked the idea at his grandmother’s house. With his history of taking found objects and materials and turning them into something else other than their original purpose, reinterpreting the thimble for this use was only natural. Instead of remaining just an everyday object, inDITO becomes a treasure you can hold on to.
