Designers Lauren Larson and Christian Lopez Swafford, the duo that makes up New York City-based Material Lust, continually push the envelope with their forward-thinking vision solidifying their their place in both the art and design world. Their latest endeavor sees the launch of Orphan Work, an anonymous place where “orphaned” material can be reimagined into new design objects, like lighting, bookends, candle holders, bottle openers, etc. The clever venture becomes more about the designs and less about the brand behind them. Take a look.
