Designer James Dieter is not just launching a new customizable lamp, but also his new design studio at the same time. Although he’s been designing lighting through dform since 2001, James Dieter Studio will be focused on exploring simple linked geometric forms.
Mobi is a geometric light that can be adjusted into a variety of shapes and forms. Its unique design allows the user to remove the fixture from its suspension points and alter its shape into a new look.
Available in an aluminum or brass finish, the arrangement of the lamp makes it possible to double in size from the smallest to largest configuration. It even comes with a cut sheet to help the user turn Mobi into the desired shape.
