James Dieter Releases a Collection of Graphic Light Fixtures

Brooklyn-based lighting brand James Dieter’s latest collection of fixtures are bold, graphic, and the modern style dreams are made of. Guston, Elbo, and Cross each feature a contemporary design that acts as a light fixture when illuminated and beautiful art object when not.

Guston is made of flat, curved bands that notch together to create a composition of balanced elements. The light sources are backed by either white or colored glass discs.

Elbo pairs a unique bent aluminum frame armature, while porcelain or glass light diffusers provide soft, indirect light from the LED light sources. Choose from chandelier, tower, and wall versions in a variety of finish options.

Cross manages to combine the soft texture of felt with hard geometric angles. The folded band effect lends a graphic dimension to the structure.
