La Visione: A Restaurant with a Fresh, Colorful Design Featuring Carpet Collages

At carpet supplier Object Carpet’s headquarters, ‘Object Campus – City of Visions,’ Ippolito Fleitz Group designed the interior and branding for their restaurant La Visione. In addition to serving everyone food, the Italian restaurant serves as a co-working space, meeting spot and bar, accomplishing their desire to build a central location for networking and to create “vital cross-industry synergies.” The Denkendorf, Germany based company’s new restaurant is separated into three areas – a lounge, dining area and a vinoteca – all of which transition as needed for different functions throughout the day.

The dining area brings together an adventurous experience of aromas, sounds and tastes, visually experienced through a fresh palette of colors and fabrics. The space is decorated with textile wall collages using the brand’s damask and burlap fabrics alongside carpet and cord as a tangible display of their expertise.

Two restauranteurs from Stuttgart who were childhood friends in southern Italy, Vincenzo and Daniele, took charge of the food and beverages. The restaurant’s menu and branding are based on their shared beginning, inspired by the warm feeling the body gets when dreaming of sunnier climates, while also with a modern and unorthodox approach. The menu reflects the colorful nature of the interior, from the bright blue entryway to the muted beige of the leather armchairs and tables.
