Las Doce Carved Wooden Bowls and Plates by The Andes House

Thanks to Depto51, I am aware of The Andes House. Their Las Doce series of carved wooden bowls caught my eye – we must have missed these when we were in London this past September.

The Andes House is a group of Chilean designers who develop furniture, lighting, accessories, and architectural products. Released as prototypes last year, this series of plates, dishes and mugs are each made from a single pieces of wood by Mapuche artisans. The interiors of the pieces are cut using a CNC machine, merging tradition with modern craft.

These products have been developed in collaboration with Ecosoluciones and Andes Media.
