Las Lomas House in Argentina by Estudio Ramos

This week’s World Architecture News featured this gem by Estudio Ramos located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The 635-square-meter (~2083 square feet) home is nestled among old, large tress and foliage and features a fortress-like front design for privacy. The entire back of the home is completely open and all glass. An open garden space sits in the middle of the home to help with circulation but also divide the spaces. The living room and dining room both extend outside where the bar and barbecue areas are located, and smacked in between them is the focal point of the yard — a large swimming pool.
