A 230-square-foot, 1950’s apartment in North Israel was recently expanded to 330 square feet to fit a mother and daughter.
The client had a few but strict requests — bright design, separate sleeping areas for her and her daughter, modern design, and vintage accessories, and of course, not one inch beyond the 330 square foot zone. Israeli interior designer Merav Sade took on the project and created a light-filled home with fun accents that also maximizes space.
Each room has unique lighting fixtures, adding a dramatic touch without overpowering the rooms.
Graphic, modern art details are scattered throughout the home, keeping it fresh and updated.
Sade maintains the use of neutral textiles to keep the smaller spaces feeling open and large.
