Malgorzata Mozolewska, of Studio MMozolewska, weaves metal into a flexible fabric forming it into curvy shapes that reflect light. Eye of the light explores how the metal textile can be used in various applications, like lamps, room dividers, and decorative items, when sculpted. For the forms and shapes, Mozolewska finds inspiration in nature, like butterfly wings, fish scales, bird feathers, which are referenced in the pieces’ organic results.
Made in Poland by local artisans, the “fabric” glistens as light hits it on either side, each of which look different.
