Three Stanford mechanical engineering grad students found their love for crafting cool speakers just two weeks after moving into their new apartment. A little while later, the Timbre desktop speakers were born and so was Running Farm Labs.
“Designed for people who like nice things,” the Timbre speakers pack big sound in a small, minimal package. It delivers crisp sound that radiates from the entire front stainless steel body of the speaker, while the backside is made of an understated alder wood that creates a welcoming, classic feel.
The stainless steel cover acts as both the diaphragm and suspension of the speaker, resulting in a compact, clean, and modern desktop speaker that’s worth taking a second look at.
