Fusion is a design that collaborates design characteristics from all around the globe. As a multi-national corporation, Ponti Design Studio is able to combine aesthetics and functions from two different cultures and two different design languages. As a result, the blend resulted in two kitchen knives that are divided into two colors: ebony and white maple. The knives are hand-made in Kyoto, Japan, and are a limited edition set by Japanese artist/craftsman Issei Hanaoka.

Both knives feature ergonomic grips for the ultimate in slip-resistant comfort. The knives are available in two sizes and styles: serrated and non-serrated. Since the design is so minimalist, the knives can be easily taken care of. The knives are packaged in the traditional Japanese kiribako boxes.
