A Mobile Laboratory for a Skincare Brand’s Retail Store

Objeckt Creative were tasked with creating a working laboratory for FORM + MATTER that allowed their customers to test out their skincare line when they were in the store. The challenge was to come up with a “shop in shop” design that their partner stores could use and Objeckt designed it so it’s a flat pack design allowing each store to easily assemble it in-house.

The minimalist design falls right in line with the skincare brand’s aesthetic.

The hanging glass vessel holds filtered water and Japanese charcoal sticks stressing the need for pure water when it comes to skincare. The raw design helps emphasize just how important water is when it comes to cleansing our bodies.

A tank below the sink catches all of the used water. Shelves built into the A-frame cart hold the products and towels. The design distributes the weight evenly allowing it to be mobile.
