An Apartment in Valencia Gets an Airy Renovation

rh Studio redesigned this apartment in Valencia, Spain for a young working couple. The modest 70-square-meter (753 square feet) interior wasn’t functioning for them, so walls were removed and the terrace was renovated to connect the indoors with the outside.

To give the illusion of more space, smooth white resin floors were installed in every room, including on the terrace, creating one continuous plane. Most of the other surfaces were kept white to keep it feeling bright and airy.
