The New MINI

Just in time for the Los Angeles Auto Show coming this weekend to the LA Convention Center, MINI unveiled their latest Cooper and Cooper S hardtops.

Complete with a refreshed design of the hallmark MINI Cooper DNA, and excellent fuel economy and a fun driving experience, this car’s one to covet. It still looks the MINI Coopers we’re all used to seeing, but it’s exterior’s been smoothed out. It looks more contoured and sculptural than ever. The headlamps have been upgraded to LED’s too. That’s definitely a step in the right direction.

The new MINI Cooper and Cooper S hardtops are also a little bigger. New seat designs make room for longer legs and broader shoulders, while the luggage compartment can haul more of your precious cargo.

As far as the engine goes, MINI offers different options, but what’s new is an optional “green” mode that boosts the car’s efficiency. Don’t worry though; the MINI’s go-kart driving experience won’t change. Since they’re tiny they can zip around corners and feel like a cool little racecar.

There’s also cool options like run-flat tires, an LED ring that reflects the car’s operating functions and status, a road sign detection system, and a Harman Kardon speaker system.
