Odo Fioravanti’s 2nd 3D Printed Clutch for Maison 203

Last year, Italian accessories brand Maison 203 released a 3D printed clutch by designer Odo Fioravanti and they’ve partnered once again to do it all over again. Ivy sports a whole new theme with its tropical flower-like design that references old illustrations of found botanicals.

The design appears flowery, but it also feels geometric and modern. The icosahedric structure of the bag is based on a football shape, which holds the leaves perfectly in a rather hypnotic pattern that pays homage to its tropical roots.

Ivy is 3D printed out of sintered nylon that’s then colored by hand. Available in powder blue, soft white, brick red, and jungle green. It even comes with a metal chain so it can be used as a shoulder bag.

The bag will be showcased during Fuori Salone – from the 12th to 17th of April 2016 – at Design Supermarket inside la Rinascente in Piazza Duomo in Milan.
