Origami Bench by blackLAB architects

blackLAB architects inc. designed some clever seating for a special exhibit as part of the 2014 Interior Design Show in Toronto that’s now taken up home in their offices. The Origami Bench was designed and fabricated out of geometric-shaped panels of white laminate covered, baltic birch plywood that are connected with piano hinges. The planes fold together and sit firm against the tubular steel legs they rest upon, giving the look of folded paper.
