Ottoman by Scholten & Baijings for Moroso

Dutch design duo Scholten & Baijings went back to the drawing board to reimagine the way people sit in their latest creation called Ottoman. Designed for Moroso, the collection, which includes an armchair, footstool, and glass-topped low tables, gives the user the freedom to sit in various ways that are comfortable to them, even an almost lying down position.

With soft curves and an extra wide upholstered seat, the armchair has layered cushions that give the sense of complete comfort. An additional design element, the colorful cross braces on the legs, add a bold statement and ground the piece.
