Own a Piece of Frank Lloyd Wright’s New Usonia Furniture Collection

Frank Lloyd Wright’s designs are experiencing another life, thanks to a collaboration between direct-to-consumer brand Inside Weather and the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation who have released a new collection of upholstery and furniture. The Usonia collection is inspired by Wright’s Usonian furniture design style and his architectural masterpieces, with definitive nods to the Edgar Kaufmann House a.k.a. Fallingwater, the Jean and Paul Hanna House a.k.a Honeycomb House, and Taliesin West.

The Usonia capsule collection references Wright’s vision of American design, and his belief that the furnishings of a home should be integral with its architectural concept. His main goals were to create simple, beautiful furniture at a moderate cost, much like Inside Weather, with a focus on unique and fun furniture that can be enjoyed for years. Each piece in the collection is made in the USA, ships within a few days, and assembles easily.

So far, the modern, clean-lined Usonia collection consists of three pieces – the Edgar Lounge Chair, the West Ottoman, and the Hanna Side Table – and 16 upholstery designs based on Wright’s 1955 designs. More pieces will be released in short order.

Inside Weather’s manufacturing process produces as little waste as possible, and focuses on materials that have a positive impact. The Usonia collection meets FSC, SFC, Oeko-Tex, and Bluesign standards.
