Furniture made from pallets isn’t really anything new, but designer Pierre Vedel‘s Pallet Chair is the first piece of furniture I’ve seen made from a pallet that isn’t instantly recognizable as a pallet.

It’s made from one pallet, some clotheline (for the bottom), and two cushions from IKEA.

    Why destroy one of the most reused products concerning logistics?

      niclas, most of pallets are not reused.
      so you are right, why not creating a pallet collect service for reuse?
      or why not using unused materials from downstair for recycle …

    Anyone who works with pallets knows that they fall apart irreparably at some point. Yet there are still usable portions of wood plank.
